Moving to Verona with kids -good idea?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Homes are going for about $382,800 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

First post here. I've been here for 11 years and Rent is about $1,462/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.
