Working in Warsaw -salaries realistic?

I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $57,170 in Warsaw. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Warsaw sits at 381.4 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 16,592 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 10 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into running, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
