Is it worth buying in Waterloo?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but It's a a small town city with about 11,055 people. With a population of 11,055, Waterloo is a small town. The median home value here is around $237,900, which is actually reasonable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
