Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and With a population of 35,270, Watertown Town is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The weather takes some getting used to.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Italian places. it exceeded my expectations.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.
I've been here 2 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
