Best apartments in Weidman under ?

Hi all, Born and raised here. Homes are going for about $104,200 on average. The median home value here is around $104,200, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Weidman sits at 240.2 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature
- Low taxes

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Far from major airports
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homelessness issues downtown
The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Austin about 13 years ago. The main reasons were family and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Summers can be brutally hot

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
