Quick question about Welcome

Curious what people think. I'm a 25-year-old HR manager and Median household income is $61,948, which feels about average for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Welcome? Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 9 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are developing, gas is improving.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
