Top 5 things I love about West Lafayette
Alright, Been living here since 2010. Rent is about $1,152/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 7.2%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
