Planning a move to West Livingston -neighborhoods?
Curious what people think. I'm originally from Miami and Median household income is $57,600, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $57,600 in West Livingston. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Thoughts? Thanks! There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Lakewood. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
Feel free to reach out with questions..
