Raising a family in West Puente Valley -thoughts?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm originally from Phoenix and Rent is about $2,250/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The traffic is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
