Working remotely from White Rock

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 0.9%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $150,714 in White Rock. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Nashville about 11 years ago. The main reasons were weather and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Greenfield area are improving. Kids love it here.
