The good and bad of living in Williamsport

Hi all, We have two kids and Crime rate is something to consider -Williamsport sits at 449.9 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,629 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is tough in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 15 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great BBQ places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
