Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. You can expect to pay around $2,146 for rent here. Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.
I've been here 9 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..
