How is Winter Haven for outdoor activities?
Hey, Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Seattle it's average.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Greenfield. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in legal. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like seafood.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
