Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from San Francisco and With a population of 52,846, Winter Haven is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $248,200 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Worth the trade-offs? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
