Crime rate is something to consider -Woodlawn CDP (Baltimore County) sits at 1,338.5 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,440 for rent here. Rent is about $1,440/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I've lived in West for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The healthcare scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Decent public transit for the size
- The traffic scene is improving

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much established but now it's pretty good.
