Is Baldwinsville worth moving to in 2026?

OK so I've been here for 19 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Baldwinsville sits at 128.1 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Unpopular opinion about Baldwinsville

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
