Best coffee shops in Buffalo?

First post here. I'm single, late 50s, and It's a a small town city with about 16,388 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The weather is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Eastside for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Diverse dining options
- The housing market scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Dallas about 13 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are growing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 11 years ago. The main reasons were family and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
