Been living here since 2023. Median household income is $56,375, which feels about average for the area. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Moving to Calverton -what should I know?

I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $229,400 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great. Appreciate any input. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse....
