Moving to Cape May Court House -what should I know?

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,389/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Denver about 12 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Close to major attractions
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
