Planning a move to Catoosa -neighborhoods?

Hey everyone, With a population of 7,631, Catoosa is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The job market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The school system is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in tech. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Asian.

No regrets on my end..
