First post here. We have two kids and Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $135,888 in Chesapeake Beach. Rent is about $1,490/month for a decent place. Not sure if this has been asked before, but You can expect to pay around $1,490 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience? Thanks! The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Is Chesapeake Beach walkable?

Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Chesapeake Beach sits at 361.9 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
