Chesapeake Beach quality of life -am I missing something?
There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Does this match your experience?

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- The dating scene scene is hit or miss
The downsides:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
