Why I chose Croton-on-Hudson over bigger cities

Hey folks, I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation?

Honest thoughts on life in Croton-on-Hudson

I work in manufacturing and Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $702,600, which is pretty steep. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services.
