Is Maple Valley still affordable?

We have two kids and Homes are going for about $672,000 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 9 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
