Best and worst neighborhoods in Minneola

Random thought, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Homes are going for about $386,700 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in construction. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Korean.

No regrets on my end..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is average in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much growing but now it's hit or miss.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Riverside) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
