Weekend activities in Slaton?

You can expect to pay around $1,042 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here...
