Studio apartments in Somerset -options?

Hey folks, Rent is about $830/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $140,900, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $830 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 4.5%, which is about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Lots of new development
- Active local events

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Limited dining options
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
- Not enough green space
Is this normal for Somerset? The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Houston about 15 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is tough.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..
