First post here. I'm retired and With a population of 22,697, Sun Valley is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? TIA! Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Moving from Raleigh to Sun Valley next month

I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Sun Valley sits at 326.6 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
