Longtime lurker here, I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Lakeland Highlands sits at 446.6 per 100K. Median household income is $106,012, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
