What's it really like living in Middleburg?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 15 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Middleburg sits at 140.1 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $241,700 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles...

So, I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
