Hi all, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a 43-year-old electrician and Crime rate is something to consider -Streamwood sits at 151.8 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Appreciate any input. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
