Fife quality of life -am I missing something?

I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,836/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Hey, We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Fife sits at 755.5 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Fife? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
