Moving to Lake Hopatcong with kids -good idea?

Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from San Diego and Poverty rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Longtime lurker here, The median home value here is around $388,300, which seems about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Poverty rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
