I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 4.7%, which is about average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation?

First post here. Homes are going for about $864,900 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Is Morro Bay walkable?

Curious what people think. Just moved here 4 months ago and It's a a small town city with about 10,717 people. Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What neighborhoods would you suggest?
