Pros and cons of New Brighton after 15 years

Crime rate is something to consider -New Brighton sits at 134.4 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Why I chose New Brighton over bigger cities

I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $87,272 in New Brighton. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? Thanks!
