Golden Glades quality of life -am I missing something?

I work in food service and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Rent is about $1,444/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Worth the trade-offs? The food scene here is surprisingly good.
