Things Mountain Top needs to improve

First post here. It's a a small town city with about 11,856 people. The median home value here is around $274,600, which seems about average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated.

Hello, My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $843/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
